How You Can Help

The San Jose State Precision Flight Team is largely self funded and student run. In order to compete every year, most of the expenses are paid for by the students themselves, a dedication not found in most other college sport programs. Generally, every year the team applies for and is granted a small amount of money to help defray some costs but available funding is very limited and is not guaranteed from semester to semester. Competing on the national level requires the team to incur sometimes substantial monetary obligations that would be a burden to any college student.

Support from the University and the aviation community is greatly appreciated. Without it the SJSU Flight Team would be unable to compete and the longstanding history of the team would come to an abrupt halt. The Flight Team is always looking for both sponsors and donors to assist with the expenses of sending a twelve-member team to competitions both regionally and nationally. As a non-profit, mutual benefit organization, any donations are tax deductible. A tax deductible receipt will be mailed to the donor upon request. The team would greatly appreciate any financial or travel assistance that you could afford these students with their ambition to be the best college flight team in the nation. Any assistance, large or small, is tremendously helpful.
